The PHSV uses a wedge wire structure with precisely uniform slot gaps for consistent surface filtration and easy backwash cleaning. The V-shaped wire profile prevents particle wedging in the slots, so the element clears efficiently during backwashing and returns to near-original flow capacity without cartridge replacement.
